Project Overview

Converting nursing facilities into assisted living units, and transforming those units into places that feel like home, while serving as a neighbor and not just a builder, is quite the job. Our team at La Loma Village, a Sun Health Senior Living Life Plan Community, delivered on these goals while performing 24,000 square feet of renovation work.

With a project like this, the details make the difference. Remodeled units now have ample living and entertaining space, and they are complemented by upgraded community and gathering areas, dining spaces, and a new multi-purpose living center. There’s even a new in-house beauty salon and spa for residents. All aspects of La Loma’s renovation were carefully crafted to make an inviting and livable atmosphere.

While building within a fully occupied facility, our No. 1 focus was resident safety and well-being. We worked to limit noise and vibration, accounted for emergency situations, and helped residents navigate work areas. Our team went above and beyond client expectations in creating not only a safe jobsite but a larger culture of respect and camaraderie with residents.
